First Impressions
The $ amount Christmas shoppers spend with you could be influenced by their very first impression of your staff, will they scare them off or will they have the "Welcome" mat out? How to get started with all types of customer in the silly season.
Tell me About it
Who's it for, what do they like, how much will they use it, what else do they have ??? ... get as much valuable information with as few questions as possible. Learn why they want the item, what additional items you might suggest and who else to satisfy.
Suggest with Confidence
Suggest to the customer the products that best meet their needs, tell them why "these ones" are ideal for what they need, tap into key information they mentioned previously. How to show all products enthusiastically.
Keep Suggesting
Introduce additional items that would go with what you showed, what other item would make it even nicer to give and receive. Introduce the must have items, batteries, accessories, care products etc. Make suggestions for other family members and be thankful for being helpful.
Closing with Confidence
It is what salespeople are employed to do, respond when customers indicate that the item appears to be what they are after. Not responding will add to the customers Christmas shopping woes! Various techniques for all types of customers.
