The New Professional Retail Management Course – It’s a big hit!

Attendees agree that retailers need to take more responsibility for the quality of each sales presentation in their stores and stop blaming issues like the weather, the economy, the market, advertising, product department or the competitor’s activity. In short – take responsibility for Internal issues and stop blaming External issues.

The new concept of establishing RAILS for performance has provided Managers with clarity and confidence, good and poor performance is easily identified and this gives Managers the confidence to address issues which are often ignored because of the potential conflict.

These performance RAILS identify which of the staff are exceeding, meeting or below the store’s STANDARDS in any area of sales, service and operations.

The changes to METRICS have been welcomed as practical and logical. No longer are metrics compared to store averages as every week the average is different, staff don’t know what it will be each week, they are therefore chasing a moving target. BENCHMARKS are established for each metric and they are consistent for a reason. Metrics COACHED for a month, TRENDS are identified and worked on for a full month and no longer do we coach a different metric each week.

In summary the changes and updates to The Friedman Group Professional Retail Management Training course have received a huge thumbs up from the retailers.
